Lightroom - NO keyboard shortcuts at all work

Dear all,

I have installed Lightroom Classic (10.0) on my windows 10 laptop. Unfortunately, Lightroom does not appear to recognize ANY keyboard input (not even Crtl when trying to import more than one photo at a time).

I already started my laptop in save mode, but the issue prevails. What can I do?

(The update to 10.2 is just running, but as I found no web support for my issue at all I don't expect any fix for it in the new version).

Any help is very welcome.

I'd first reset the preferences and if that doesn't work then my next step would be to uninstall and then reinstall the application?

of course, this assumes the keyboard shortcuts work on other applications.

Do keyboard shortcuts work in other applications?

If they do, try resetting the Lightroom preferences.
