Should run fine with a standard HD monitor. If you have a 4K or larger monitor, there might be some slowdowns.

Beware that Airs have a reputation for overheating when used intensively for longer periods. LR tries very hard to fully utilize the processor and graphics chips, and some people have reported that the Air will then slow way down or simply shut off to avoid hardware damage from overheating.  You can try to keep the air vents clean (there is no fan) to lessen the chances of this happening.  Note that this is a design problem with the Air, not a software problem with LR.
