Lightroom problem

Hello, Lightroom is not showing my photos in develop tab or in the library tab. I can only see 3 at a time, and when I click on a new photo, the previous one disapears.

I tried rebooting my computer, upgrading my graphic cards and I looking around on the net, but nothing works.

 

Is there something that I can do?

    Library Path: C:\Users\User\OneDrive\Images\Lightroom\Lightroom Catalog-2-v13-3.lrcat

     

     

    Try making sure that catalog is not on OneDrive, and that the photos are not on OneDrive. And stop OneDrive from automatically backing the catalog or the photos to OneDrive. (you can backup later)

     

    That Library path showing OneDrive within the path, either indicates the catalog is on OneDrive, or just auto sync (backup) to OneDrive (some confusion on that)

     

    A link on OneDrive folders to be sync:

     

     

    and this might help in changing the documents folder to be on your hard drive, not OneDrive (make sure you have a backup, before playing with this):

     

     

    With OneDrive involved, any issues with your Internet, or the OneDrive servers, or both, can bring your LrC down to it's knees.

     

    Blame MS for this, they try to force customers into using MS accounts, instead of Local accounts, and MS accounts just love OneDrive.

     

    Can other more knowledge members provide some links? Kind of wished, someone in the absolute know, could document LrC vas OneDrive issues, recommendations, fixes:

     

    • What does OneDrive in a LrC catalog library path mean
    • Why use of OneDrive in  LrC is bad
    • How to undo OneDrive in a LrC catalog library path
    • How to prevent OneDrive from automatically sync/backup your catalog, your photos

     

    Yes, I know, their are people on the web that state using LrC along with OneDrive is the best thing since sliced bread. Like this one in this very community:

     

     

    But some users find that to be not true.

      A video capture of the problem may be helpful. Start a video capture, use LrC as to show the problem, stop the video capture. Save the video capture to the cloud, perhaps DropBox, or others. Then share that in a reply.

      Please try is to switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue.

      Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

      Another step is to try to reset the Lightroom preferences.
