Lightroom Reverted back to "Trial" suddenly after 2 years ???

I have been using my Lightroom classic since December of 2015, up until 5 days ago. Today I try to open it and it says my "Trial Version" has 7 days left. I've logged into my account and it shows nothing. I don't know where the licensing/key code info is for this anymore, its been so long. Can someone help? I'm a Realtor and need it for the photographs for my listings!

    Correct answer Just Shoot Me

I rebooted it this afternoon when all of this started.

    I run Windows 10 version 1709

I looked back at the update history and it had a windows feature update on Jan. 2nd

As well as a Security update of Feb. 7th. I know I last used LR sucessfully 5/6 days ago, so that timing is suspect to me.

    It specifically says:

    Summary

This security update resolves vulnerabilities in Adobe Flash Player that is installed on any supported edition of Windows Server Version 1709, Windows Server 2016, Windows 10 Version 1709 (Fall Creators Update), Windows 10 Version 1703 (Creators Update), Windows 10 Version 1607, Windows 10 Version 1511, Windows 10 RTM, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 8.1, or Windows RT 8.1.

Then I suspect the Windows update did something to the registration file folder location. Like changed the permissions on it.

You should reinstall LR right over the top of the current install.

You can download the Base Installer and the 6.14 update from here.

    Download Photoshop Lightroom

Make sure you download both the base installer, Top, and then the 6.14 update from the list below.

Install the base installer then update it with the 6.14 download.

So you need to clarify something here.

You cannot have been using "Lightroom Classic since December of 2015" because it was not released until October of 2017. Please correct this information. What version of LR have you been using?

    Also please answer these questions:

    • Is it possible that you first clicked on Lightroom Classic and that's why it now appears to be a trial?
    • Have you actually paid the subscription fee to use Lightroom Classic?

I'm glad you asked these questions. I "assumed" it was classic simply when I logged in here.  It was a Christmas gift that's how I know exactly when I got it.

It locks up and won't go beyond the trail login screen now, however it says in the title bar: Adobe Lightroom CC 2015

As I said above, it was a gift.

    Yay!!!!

It worked! The only issue I had was with the update after the base install. The most recent 6.14 wouldn't  install, I kept getting an error telling me to download a new application manager. I downloaded the update prior, 6.13 and it works perfectly!!!

Thank you for your help and patience. I really appreciate it.
