Hi, I've recently purchased a new MacBook Pro with (M4 Pro chip), and Lightroom cannot detect my Canon 5D Mark IV when I start tethered capture. I have already tried the following and it doesn't help.

1) Tried different tethering cable with different lengths, didnt work

2) Tried updating my Canon 5D Mark IV firmware to the latest 1.4.0, didnt work

3) Tried rebooting my Mac and my camera, didnt work

Wondering if anyone has encountered similar issues and do advice me solutions, thanks!

Hi, thanks for reaching out and we're sorry about the trouble!

Do you have a memory card/SD card in the camera when you try tethering? If not, please put that in and try again. Also, try giving Full disk access to Lightroom Classic to ensure that's not causing a blocker. You can check out the steps here: https://adobe.ly/4bnDqe4
