Lightroom very slow after last update

Hi there,

After the latest update my Lightroom has become terribly slow, on a superfast computer. (AMD Ryzen 1700+)

Does anybody know what could have caused this? I assume that no settings are changed with an update, like settings that could change performance are changed from default with an update? I never had to change anything in the default settings to increase the performance, my computer is fast enough to play any modern computer game at full resolution, so this is crazy.

Before the update the performance was fine, now everything I change in the development window takes time, even changing the contrast of a photo has a latency of 1-2 seconds, making it very uncomfortable to work with the program.

Does anybody have an idea what could be the cause?
