Can someone please help me!
Last week i had a pop up in Lrc for a small update. I did the update but since then it work so slow.
Importating the pictures is working fine but the loading the original previews is taking forever.
Already brought my laptop to a specialist and they cleaned up the laptop from virusses and slow make anti-virus protection etc. So i am sure my laptop is not the problem (Asus Zenbook Flip 15 with ADM Ryzen 7).
Can anyone tell me what to do? I can't work on photo's when i can't see wich one i am clicking on.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

I solved the problem!! @KR Seals @Luiz157F
I deleted the app and reinstalled it. Still dramatic. So i tought maybe the current Catalog is the problem. Maybe there is some error or bug wich is causing to not working as i want to. And yep that's it! Just created a new catalog. For example my last was Lightroom Catalog-v13-3. And i made a new one to Lightroom Catalog-v13-4. As i made that one i went on to import my photo's, withing seconds the original previews appeared and i could get started with my editing!
Maybe it works for you as well?
Kind regards!

Thank you for the tip! I had already tried creating a new catalog, but it didn’t work. So, I disabled GPU usage, and that did the trick.
I think the issue is some incompatibility between the latest GPU driver update and LR. I downgraded to the previous GPU driver version, and that solved the problem.

Same here.
I’d say my workflow has dropped by about 80% due to the delay in switching from one image to another.

Be sure the anti-virus settings exclude Lightroom Classic, Photoshop and the image files. Since the anti-virus scans every thing, it could be slowing down LrC. There was an issue of exactly that on a recent thread on this forum.
