I use LR classic and was trying to put some images to the decktop (Mac sytem). I did something and now my LR app is completly empty of all images. It is as if I have a new app with no images. I think this is probably a new secound set-up, but where is the original and how do I get it back, and what did I do ? Wayne

Hey, @waynee16750856. I'll help you figure this out. Where do you keep your Lightroom Catalog? On the internal drive or an external drive?
You can list all the catalogs on your computer using macOS Finder search & type in .lrcat & then arrange the results by modified date to find the recent catalog you were working on.
If you're recently upgraded Lightroom Classic, you'll be prompted to upgrade the catalog, proceed with the upgrade and wait for it to finish.
Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
Sameer K

I don't know what I did to "loose" catalog but was restored with File-Open recent and then choose correct catalog and it was resored. Thanks for your interest

Hi, could you explain this further? What does "put" mean here? Export? Move? Copy? something else?

This seems unrelated to your first sentence. You may have (accidentally?) opened a new catalog or an empty catalog. Can you find the desired catalog file using File->Open Recent and selecting each catalog shown there?
