LR 6.14 Won't load on M1 MacBook Pro

Hi LR enthusiasts,

I am an old dinosaur or more like a cheap dinosaur because I'm still using LR 6.14. It was working beautifully on a Macbook pro(2017) and was working fine on my new MBpro(M1) but the next day it won't open. It starts up but then disappears. I saw on something the screen that said can't load because all the finder windows are used or something similar to that. Anyone have a quick solution?

There are no guarantees that v6.14 will work at all in an M1 Mac. You cannot even Install or un-install in the Monterey iOS.

There is no Adobe support available.

If you can be more specific about any error messages, there maybe a Mac person that can suggest some advice.

Thanks Rob for replying so quickly. The first day I got the M1, LR worked. Weird. Running the latest Monterey 12.2.1

For the monthly cost of three cups of coffee at the cafe, you can have the latest versions of Lightroom (now called Lightroom-CLASSIC v11.2), with Photoshop, and all the Apps for Cloud syncing & editing (only IF you want to use the Cloud). All in the Photography Plan 20Gb.

Is that too much to spend on a great hobby? $120US/year. And what did your camera and computer cost?
