Lr, ACR and optics module
Hi all.
Can anyone explain why when we activate this module, the image gets even more distorted?
For example, I process images from the Nikon D850 camera and the Nikkor AF-S 24-70 mm f/2.8E ED VR lens. It is clear that if I decided to accommodate the details on the whole sensor area, then the edges of the image will be stretched, and the central part will remain undistorted.
I open this raw file in Adobe Lightroom, activate the module Optics/Use profile corrections, I see that the program has chosen my lens correctly, but at the same time the image is stretched even more on the edges.
Probably, there is a lot of literature on this topic. You can sit and quiet warm evenings, covered with a blanket, read it to understand. But can someone just explain how to get out of this situation with the optical correction?
Or is my case unique and need to show screenshots - examples of photos taken?
