LR Classic 12.2.1: screen flickers in develop mode

After updating LR Classic to 12.2.1 I get a flickering screen in develop mode, i.e. sort of a to and fro between developped and undevelopped status of the photo.

Working with MBP 16", M2 Max 96GB, Ventura 13.2.1, Apple Pro Display XDR connected by TB4.

 

The workaround is downgrading the screen to the native MBP display.

Some steps to narrow down the problem:

 

1. Try setting Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor to Off.  Does the problem still occur?

 

2. Roll back to LR 12.1 (not 12.2) -- does the problem still occur?  (It sometimes turns out that reports here of problems occurring after an update are unrelated to the update and just coincidentally surfaced at about the same time.)

thx! With Graphic Processor off it gets sort of a on and off. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Rolling back is of no help. The problem seems to be the same.
