LR Classic stored updates and desk top icon

Question

Hi, a couple of questions. I just updated LR Classic to 12.5: (Windows 11)

1. Where are updates stored on the computer? I do not see them in downloads, or anywhere and I want to delete previous updates.

2. How do I put the LR icon back on desk top? It disappeared with the update.

1) There are no "Download" files or "Update" files. The Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App controls the installation of apps by the online connection. If there are installs of previous versions you would normally un-install them from the Creative Cloud Desktop App.

2) Find Lightroom.exe in a Folder like this- {C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic} and [Right-Click] Lightroom.exe to create a Shortcut. You may need to click on [Show more options] to see [Create Shortcut..] which will ask you if you want it on the Desktop.
