LR Classic won't work after installing 11.3

After using Lightroom for more than 10 years, I am flummoxed. I have spent 2 full days reading all "fixes" and tried clean installing GPU driver, using older catalogs, reemoving preerences and presets, etc. I have had some very limited success in using a 6 month old catalog - success only to the extent that I got LR to open and stay open long enough to generate system info, which as follows:

It opens (barely). One thing I have tried several times is optimizing the catalog, but it always crashes while doing so, I have finally learned that I can get it to open by deleting lrcat.lock, lrcat-shm, and lrcat-wal before reopening by double clicking on the old catalog.

I have for years organized all my photos with LR. My catalog is huge and embodies over a decade of work. I have lost at least the last 6 months worth, but have had no luck at all in getting LR 11.3 o work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
