LR/Instagram plugin just starting giving an error

I have been using the LR/Instagram plugin (registered) for some time.  Today, when I tried to publish, I got this popup and the photo in my library still says it's unpublished. However, it actually is on my Instagram account.  Anyone else seeing this?   How to fix?

I also had the same issue as described by the OP. I updated from 0.6.1524 to 1577   (it's 0.6.1577 as of today Sept 3 1018).

Updating resolved my issue. Thankfully!  I depend on this plugin in a BIG way!

Well, I'm like everyone else - keep getting the "408" message. I'm running it on a Mac (latest OS), Lightroom Classic 7.5, latest version of LR/Instagram (just re-downloaded it this morning).

- Removed the previous plug-in using the LR Plug-in Mgr.

- Removed the two LR Instagram Publishing Services I had defined - fortunately I elected to keep the images already posted (there's a configuration box for this) so while it removed all my previously posted photos from the LR publishing services (not from my computer files), they are still on Instagram

- Installed latest LR/Instagram (1577)

- Configured the same Instagram publishing services

It sort of works. Very inconsistent though. Sometimes I can upload a photo; other times not. Same photo will fail with the "408" message and the on re-try will upload. But not dependably..

Hopefully there's a fix soon.

go to the plugin folder in Mac Apps folder: duplicate it and reload the duplicate plugin. Worked for me. In fact, this is what the developer says in the Read Me file that came with the update folder.

I have the same problem guys... few days ago the LR plugin stopped working, then I downloaded version 1575 and it started working again... but sadly only until this morning !!!

So I checked for the new version and I downloaded the latest version of LR/Instagram 0.6.1581 and I have the same message as SERGEPIASTRA :

error: status=nil (1)

AND IT STILL DOES NOT WORK !!!

Of course I registered my version and I paid 10$ long time ago... @szychowski.artur

I'm really getting tired with all that...

So for now I'm sending photos to my mobile and I'm uploading them to Instagram from there but it's tiring as I have to manually write all hashtags... ;(

Hopefully there will be some solution to this... !!!

Just saw that there is a new version available: version 0.6.1582

Will try it tomorrow (too late for me now!).

1577 works for me.  Tried 1581 this morning and it did not.  Went back to 1577 and it still works.   Just FYI.

After I downloaded version 1582 and I tried first time it didn't work but second time it worked...

Maybe try one more time or restart lightroom...?

If you get that email, make sure to log on from your phone and authorize the other login as it might mean that instagram locked out your account from extra logins because it thinks you are being hacked.

Just installed 0.6.1582 and now getting the dreaded  http status 408 ? error message.... Not happy.

What's going on? It works for some but not for others!

Me too. Version r1575, which some people said is working for them is no longer available, it seems. Tried searching for it but no luck there. Have uninstalled and reinstalled LR numerous times, deleted all traces (including zip files) of lrinstagram, removed and added recently downloaded plugin from LR publish services numerous times, etc. Have emailed developer without getting response. Etc. Frustrating and disappointing to say the least. Hoping someone out there figures out for sure what is going on, even if that means abandoning this plugin, period.

LR/Instagram version 1577 is working fine for me on Lightroom Classic CC 7.5, Windows 10 Pro.

Yes! Before I came back and saw the note from whiskeyclaus I also had success by deleted every remnant of lrinstagram I could find, uninstalling LR, and picking the 7.3 version (the older versions are available on the Adobe Creative Cloud app if you click the down arrow next to the app after I uninstalled.) It wanted me to upgrade 7.3 before it would let me install, and I worried that it would go right back to the latest version, which doesn't work, but whatever it did it now allows me to sign in from the lrinstagram app. A change I noticed was that the words user login and password now appeared next to the blanks on the setup page and they didn't before. Could this be it? I sure hope so. Will let you know if the success is short-lived.

Thanks for posting the links.

It seems that the 1575 zip file contains the 1574 release...

R1577 worked on my Imac (dunno for how long though), but not on the MacBookPro. I am trying the older releases. Real pain in the backside.
