LR won’t sync on IPhone

Is anyone having a problem with LR syncing on Iphone. I have a Iphone 6s plus with latest update (Oct 17) but LR says no network connection even though I have a good 4g signal and use cellular data for sync enabled.

It always worked before the latest LR major update when they got rid of full preview editing and ruined a great app (IMO) Has anyone got the same problem or has a fix for this.  Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

It it works on my iPad mini when tethered to my IPhone but not on the Iphone
