Hello to all,

After updating LrC to the latest version the developing process of Canon RAW CR3 slowed down massively. After syn, of development settings and switching further from image to image it takes a few seconds until I see the next image which was not beforte the update..Also when denoising a batch, first nothing happens and after a while the action starts. Mac Studion M1 with lates OS. What can I do?

Thanks for sharing the update. I hope you're currently using version 14.4. Could you please try the following steps and let us know if you notice any performance improvements?

Performance Optimization Steps:

  1. Go to Edit  Preferences  Performance
  2. Under Camera Raw Cache Settings, click Purge Cache
  3. After purging the cache, restart your machine

Let us know how it goes!

I finally fixed the extreme lag I was facing in the develop module in LrC 14.4 and not in previous versions. I'm not sure which of the two solved it but I did these at the same time.

1. I disabled auto xmp write. Apparently this doesn't affect photoshop round-robin workflows.

2. I cleared my history on the left side panel by clicking the "x". I had never done this in my decade+ of using lightroom.

I'm having the same issue. This fix did not help me with LrC 14.4. I uninstalled 14.4 and went back to the last 13.x version and it was snappy as before. I then tried the update to 14.4 and again the develop module is painfully slow. Moving between raw files, adjusting star rating, flagging and unflagging are affected. Actual image adjustments are fine and not affected.
