LRC 15.0.1 Crop Tool fails to work

Hi Guys

Since updating to LRC 15.0.1 if I attempt to crop an image having set the crop lines, when I click on the crop icon to carry out the edit, the crop lines disappear without performing the crop as if I had cancelled the edit. Settings are the same as I've used for the last 5 years:

Aspect, Custom

Unlocked

Constrain to image

Images are usually Canon CR2 but I have also tried converting to .dng without any improvement. Any guesses where I'm going wrong please.

Hi, thanks for reaching out!

I'm not able to reproduce this behavior. You can try to reset the preferences of Lightroom using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/4r4GenN

If you still continue to observe the same behavior, go to the Help menu in Lightroom Classic, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the info with us by either pasting it as a reply here or in a text file and sharing the file with us.

Thanks,
Nikunj

Thanks,

Hi Nikunj

Prefernce replacement seems to have done the trick, my belief that enabling Lens Corrections having solved the problem was a little premature. I've got 4 active catalogues at the moment so I'll see if this is a permanent fix once I move on to the next one.

Thanks for your help.

And miraculously it now works. Went to Lens Corrections and enabled Profile Corrections, which were not enabled as standard after the upgrade. I would suggest that should be included in the next upgrade / bug fix as the Crop Tool doesn't work without it.
