Since updating to LrCC 15 yesterday (Windows 11), I find my workflow much slower. Both the library and develop modules are slower, photos taking a long time (a couple of seconds) to paste settings in the develop module (despite LRCC receiving the input to paste immediately, the effects take a few seconds to apply to the image - this is true across both my Phase One tiff/raw files and my Fujifilm X series raw files).
Anybody else experiencing some slowdowns (as usual with a new LRCC release, unfortunately).
I've seen the same behavior on my side in the past. In the Taskmanager the CPU is permanently on 95-100% and LrC reacts in the Library module extremly slow. I notices also that the LR-Katalog.lrcat-wal file is constantly growing and growing.
After I restore the catalog from my recent backup all worked fine again.
I don't know why this happens. I haven't done anything that would have resulted in major updates to the catalog.
Try to create a new catalog with several pictures and check or resto

Good to hear, and glad your machine now works almost as good as v14.5, but I have not had the same experience. After doing pretty much everything that has been suggest, including the culling thing as you described, my problem with v15.01 persisted...it continued to NOT run. So, Im back to 14.5 and will stay with it until v15.01 is fixed.

Hi, thanks for reaching out!
Please go to the Help menu in Lightroom Classic, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the info with us by either pasting it as a reply here or in a text file and sharing the file with us.
If you've upgraded your old catalog to work with the latest version, try creating a new catalog to see if there is a difference in performance.
You can also try optimizing the preferences of Lightroom Classic using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/4ioLTRS
Let us know how it goes!
Thanks,
Nikunj

Thanks for sharing the system info! Please try creating a new catalog and importing a few images into it to test as suggested earlier. Also, try the steps mentioned in the article shared above.
Further, there seem to be updated drivers available for the NVIDIA GPU you have on the system. Please ensure you have the latest Studio drivers installed on your computer.
Thanks,
Nikunj

"DirectX: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU (32.0.15.8157)"
That's the latest Studio driver for that graphics processor, so no need to update.
If the nikunj.m's steps don't help, try these steps one at a time, which have helped others with performance problems:
1. Disable Catalog Settings > Metadata > Automatically Write Changes To XMP.
2. Set these options in Preferences > Performance:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/lrc-15-slow/m-p/15605226#M419623
3. Temporarily turn off all anti-virus / anit-malware packages, including Windows Defender. If this helps, then add specific exclusions for the LR catalog folder and your photos folders.

It seems that you have an integrated GPU that's to be active.
The internal GPU can sometimes caused several issues. Open the Windows Device Manager, right-click the card's name and choose Disable.

@Igor263919677y16 I'm can understand your frustration, but complaining alone helps no one.
Computer configurations are so diverse that it is impossible to test every conceivable combination down to the smallest detail. Therefore, the developers also depend on the cooperation of the users.
Of course, new versions always have a few issues and/or areas for improvement. But here, too, Adobe relies on user feedback. Bug fixes take time. It doesn't help anyone if a problem is quickly resolved and then still doesn't work properly.
But anyway: In another thread to the same issue (you've posted already there) some users posted a solution that helped them, ex here:

If this doesn't help please provide a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the LrC Help > System Info menu item. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.

Studio MAX 2023

Hey, @WillCheung. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out. Please share the system info from Lightroom Classic from Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.
Where do you keep your Lightroom Classic catalog? Does the delay occur randomly, or after you've applied specific edits, or a number of edits, to the image, such as Lens Corrections, Denoise, and Masks?
As primary steps, try this:
Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Delay: The delay occurs after importing images, when selecting a photo. The image goes from blurry to sharp, similar to a loading process. No Lens Corrections, Denoise, or Masks have been applied.
There is only one monitor, and no additional monitors are connected.
Lightroom Classic > Catalog Settings > Metadata > Uncheck 'Automatically Write Changes Into XMP.' Check this detailed response from our Expert:
(This option to automatically write changes into XMP is already turned off.)
Performance: On macOS, there is only one active monitor. Each time a photo is clicked, only the %CPU spikes instantly from 2.x–3.x up to over 100.x。
