LRC and PS freezing

I have LRC and Photoshop.

LRC – 14.3.1 (2502505061331-b063faef

PS – 25.12.3 20250415.r.1067 fof8f82 x64

Both programs are freezing.

This just started on 05/25/2025. Both programs have been up to date on updated software.

I can not work with the programs freezing.

What to do?

Do the apps freeze while performing a particular task or randomly? Which Windows version are you working on? 

Please go to the Help menu in Photoshop, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the info with us by either pasting it here as a reply or by pasting it in a text file and sharing the file with us.

As requested, please share the system info from Photoshop & Lightroom Classic from Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

 

Have there been any other recent changes to your system? For example, have you recently installed any antivirus software, system updates, or web extensions? Where do you keep the Lightroom Catalog & Photoshop files? Network Drive/ System HDD/ Shared Folder on System / External HDD? 

 

In general, you can follow these steps to begin identifying the behavior: 

  • Monitor the Task Manager for any unexpected read-and-write operations.
