LRC Develop pane slows after macOS Sequoia update

After upgrading to macOS Sequoia (15.1.1) I'm experiencing slows in LRC (14.0.1), particularly in the Develop pane with masks (esp. subject detection) and Remove tools. I have a Mac Mini M2 Pro w 32GB RAM. Original files (CRAW) are stored on an SSD (W/R = 2300/2200). Switch Graphics Processor between Auto and Custom makes no difference. Any hints to improve and return performance to previous levels are most welcome.

Hey, @MightyAtomBoy. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

Please share the system info from Lightroom Classic from Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

Resetting Lightroom Classic won't delete your presets, or profiles. It'll only reset user preferences. Where do you keep your Lightroom catalog & the original images, internal, or external drive?

As primary steps, try this:

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Hi Sameer,

Many thanks for your assistance. Find system info attached. Catalog files are kept locally. Original files (CRAW) are stored on an external SSD (W/R = 2300/2200).

I've made a few changes to Preview settings and will monitor for improvement, then work my way through your other suggestions.
