Is it possible to change the base map in the map module to Google Earth Pro with saved My Places?

I don't believe so, but you can jump to Google maps in your internet browser by Alt/Option clicking on the arrow to the right of GPS coordinates in LrC Metadata panel or Map module. If logged into your Google maps account any photos already uploaded should display.

Thanks Ian. Unfortunately client confidentiality prevents us having images in Google Maps.

Is it possible to add town, village, hamlet names to the base map in LRC?

We are operating in very remote areas in Africa and showing location names in the map module is important.

When Ian says you can jump to Google maps, this does not put the images in Google maps. It just goes to those GPS locations in your web browser.

You mentioned Google Earth Pro. If you are on Mac, have you tried dragging the images in LR and dropping them on Google Earth Pro in the dock. This may open them in that app. Not sure.

But what is the underlying requirement here? What are you trying to achieve?
