LrC not opening

I've read the previous posts with this issue but seems to be a different cause for me. I've tried resetting preferences on start-up. I've tried removing the *.plist file manually. Nothing is working.

I have LRC 11.5 (I think) and macOS Catalina 10.15.7. I'm lost. Please help.

Readin throgh the thread I'm not sure what your fix was.  I'm havign similiar issues. 

 


Basically, after clicking on the logo in the dock which brings up the splash screen, I go from the LrC menu to Open Catalog and find my current LrC *.lrcat file and double-click on that. Or you probably can just use finder to double-click on the catalog file.

Hi 

Sorry to jump into the conversation a bit late, have you tryed updating it to the latest version of lightroom and see if that works if not then you may have to run adobe cc cleaner to fix it.

LrC 12 is not compatible with macOS Catalina. The minimum macOS that's supported is Big Sur.

Thank you. I've just tried both solutions...still not getting further than the splash screen. I did find that I had 2 files rather than just one SLStore there is another one SLStore_v1. So I renamed both of them as instructed. Hope that was okay.

This is so so so frustrating.
