LRC on Windows PC and Mac

I have been using LRC on Windows PC. But last week, I decided to purchase the Mac Mini as a second computer. I was wondering if I can use my LR Catalogue from my windows PC to my Mac Mini so I don't have to create a different catalogue or library on my Mac Mini. Also, if I'm travelling and decided to edit photos using the Mac Mini, would I be able to add those to my main library/catalogue on my windows PC. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.
