LrC photo stuck syncing
LrC for Mac 13.4
MacBook Pro with M2 chip and 16 GB of RAM
LrC indicates that it has been uploading one photo since yesterday. I can't close the application without it asking me if I want to shut down while syncing is in progress. Despite the stuck photo I can still sync other photos and stop syncing them (so they're removed from the cloud).
Steps taken:
- Checked sync status on the web and it says there are 0 photos.
- Shut down LrC and restarted my Mac.
- Generated a diagnostic report, uploaded it to ChatGPT and asked which photo has sync issues. It identified one that I was working on earlier so I deleted it from the collection that was syncing to the cloud, closed LrC, rebooted my Mac.
- Stopped syncing the entire collection that had contained the photo, closed LrC, and rebooted.
- Looked at the problem photo in a different collection that was not syncing (the sync didn't fail--I never tried syncing it) and noticed a "!" on the thumbnail. I clicked on it and it said, "The metadata for this photo has been changed by both Lightroom and another application (must be referring to PhotoAI). Should Lightroom import settings from disk or overwrite disk settings with those from the catalog?" I clicked Overwrite disk settings with those from the catalog, then paused syncing and restarted. When that didn't help I closed LrC and rebooted my Mac again.
Nothing has helped. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
