MacBook Pro M1 internal SSD 1 TB 16 GB Ram Sequoia 15.5 . While working with LRC, i try to uplod other data to my cloud. I noticed that the upload is 128 Mps and as soon as i open LRC the upload goes down to almost 0 Mps. What could be the reason for this?

What do you think is the reason that the upload slows down when i use LRC at the same time?  There is no slowdown when using other programs at the same time.

@Ortwin284191255cpu , when you are working in LrC the application is reading and writing to the Catalog file. The Catalog file by default is located on your computer in a hard drive sub-folder called, Lightroom at the location, Users/your user name/documents/pictures ( mypictures on Win)/lightroom.
If this subfolder is included in your pCloud backup service it will be activated every time you make a change in LrC.

In addition if you have the feature "Automatically write metadata to XMP" activated this will complicate the issue because there will changes to the XMP sidecars or to the file headers of DNG, Tiff, JPEG.

What does it mean when you say "i try to uplod other data to my cloud"? What other data? How are you uploading?
