LRC Stacking

New Here ,
Jul 25, 2022 Jul 25, 2022

Hi

Why is the stacking not working? I select all the shots by selecting the first shot, then pressing the shift key after selecting the last shot in the series to highlight all the shots I want to stack. I then press ctrl+G and nothing happens and also all the stacking options are ghosted out in the "Photo"  Stacking Options.

Frankly, I find this programme is too up itself to achieve the same results that I can get so easily in Bridge/Raw/Photoshop.

If anyone can point me in the right direction or show me the error of my ways it would be highly appreciated.

Thanks

Derek Salter

A screen-clip can often help an answer.

What version of Lightroom-Classic?

Are the photos indicated as 'Missing' with an [!] on the thumbnail border?

Are the selected photos in the same Folder?

What "Stacking" are you attempting?  (LrC does not 'Focus stack'.)

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.0, Photoshop 27.0, ACR 18.0, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0 .

Note:
Stacked photos must be located in the same folder or the same collection. You cannot stack photos while in a smart collection or a published collection.

Does that affect you?
