Lua files

How do I stop the lua files from getting into my Mac?  I find that I have numerous folders with no image files but a lua file inside.  I can never seem to find an answer to this question.  It's almost as if Google is avoiding the issue.  I am sure many people are complaining.

Those .lua files are added by syncing with LR Cloud:
