Hi Guys, Seeing if anyone else has any issues with this

Anytime I try to import more then 200 photos, my mac will crash, I use Lightroom Classic on an M2 Pro, photos are stored over the network and libary has been stored on an ext hdd over USB 3. At first I thought it was an M1 issue so I moved to an M2 Pro being better specs and processor.

Though I am still coming across this issue and I don't know how to fix it, I have tried storing photos locally, still having the same issue, the libary was stored locally orginally.

Anyone else come across this issue or know how to fix it?

Computer crashing is either a bad driver somewhere, or hardware malfunction. When it is happeneing at import and you are trying to import lots of photos, the first thing I would check to see is if your computer is overheating, and if there is a malfunction in the cooling system.

I'm having the exact same issue, Max studio pro with M2 chip running light room classic I have to keep a constant eye on it because it crashes so bad. I can't access anything else on the Mac and I've actually had to unplug it and plug it back in. Definitely not a heat or anything other issue.

This doesn't sound to me like the "exact same issue". Please start a new thread and describe your problem in detail.
