Mac very slow. Lightroom classic stopped syncing to iPad. adobe phone help advice did not work

Using Lightroom Classic on new Mac Studio running monterey 12.6

Problem started on old imac 3 months ago. Classic collections sync is repeating on mac and not syncing to ipad.

Here is what I have done:

1. delete all sync errors  3 times. It does not work they delete and come back. I asked Adobe help for a technician but kept getting cut off.

2. tried launching older catalog backups and got the same problem

3. Apple technician checked out my imac and said nothing wrong. It was very slow using Lightroom but fast if no lightroom. 

4. Bought new Apple Studio and reinstalled Lightroom using the Adobe website. Same problem. LR is faster but my new computer is very fast. Sync is still stuck. It is possible that when I transfered to the new computer that some bad Lightroom settings I don't know about  got transfered too. Please help.

I am having the same problem - LR was fast and great before the system update to Monterey this past week, and the issue is ONLY with LR.  New compatibility issue?
