Since I have upgraded/Updated two version 12.3, each time I try to use the masks it shuts down light room and gives me an error to report. When I choose to continue or to restart it goes back to where I was when I loaded up light room the last time. Can anyone help with this? I cannot use masks at all but prior to this version I  used them constantly.

You're on an Apple Silicon Mac but running LR in Rosetta mode. Troubleshooting steps:

1. Turn off Rosetta mode: In Finder, navigate to /Applications/Adobe Lightroom Classic/Adobe Lightroom Classic.app, right-click it, do Get Info, and uncheck Open Using Rosetta.

2. Update to the latest version of Mac OS (13.4) to get updated graphics drivers.

Most problems with LR's AI commands are caused by older, buggy graphics drivers. Try updating your graphics driver by going directly to the manufacturer's web site:
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/troubleshoot-gpu.html#solution-4

If that doesn't help, please copy/paste here the entire contents of the LR menu command Help > System Info -- that will let us see exactly which versions of hardware and software LR thinks you're running.
