Masks SuperOn Mac Monterey

I updated my 2015 iMac to Mac OS Monterey and the Lightroom CC + Photoshop Apps. At first it was running great but now the masks are super slow. And in certain cases they apppear where I did not place them (when using the brush). I tried optimizing Lightroom but not sure it it's correct or not. Would appreciate some specific help please.

Unfortunately, your computer, especially the GPU just about meets the minimum requirements for LrC 13.x (https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/lightroom-classic/system-requirements.html). Also, since your display is 5K, then the graphics card would need a minium of 4GB of VRAM. This is likely the reason for the behaviour you desbcribe, especially when using any AI based edits (e.g. Masks).

Ich möchte Lightroom auf meinem Mac installieren. Monterey ist mein Betriebssystem und es ist kein neues für diesen Mac verfügbar iMac (Retina 5K, 27 Zoll, Ende 2015). Wie kann ich Lightroom installieren?

 

leider ist das nicht möglich. In meinem vorherigen Beitrag habe ich bereits die Einschränkungen durch Adobe erläutert und entsprechende Links hinterlegt, damit Du die Details bei Bedarf noch einmal selbst nachlesen kannst.

 

Ich stand vor einigen Monaten vor einem ähnlichen Problem mit meinem iMac (Retina 5K, 27 Zoll, Ende 2015) und meiner langjährigen Nutzung eines Adobe-Abos. Letztlich habe ich mich für ein MacBook Pro M2 entschieden, das ich direkt bei Apple erworben habe. Dabei konnte ich gegenüber einem Neugerät rund 700 Euro einsparen. Der Leistungszuwachs ist beeindruckend, und ich habe inzwischen auf Capture One umgestellt, das ich Dir gerne als dritte Alternative ans Herz legen möchte.
