Missing Lightroom Classic (macOS) Preferences option from the LR Classic dropdown menu

When attempting to add a new plugin to the lightroom photo/edit in menu I know that to do this it is necessary to go to the Lightroom Classic dropdown menu and then select Preferences. The problem is that there is no Preferences option in that dropdown menu.

If you're looking the Plug-in manager, it's in the File menu.

If you want to add an external editor, you do that in the External editing tab of the Preferences dialog.

On a Mac, Preferences should be in the Lightroom menu. Are you sure it's not there?

'Settings' is the new 'Preferences' in Ventura. I've attached a screenshot for easy reference.
