Missing user presets from catalogs they used to be in

I have been using my own self made user presets for the past year and a half on multiple catalogs on two different hard drives. Today, with both hard drives plugged in, I opened a catalog and all of my downloaded presetes as well as my user presets were missing. I have been able to re add my downloaded presets but cannot figure out how to restore my user presets i made. Can anyone please give me some help with this?

Presets are not stored in the catalog. Their default location is a folder on your main drive, which will not change if you change the catalog. See

You can also check the option 'Store presets with this catalog' however, in which case they are stored in a separate 'Settings' folder inside the catalog folder. Toggling between these two settings does not move existing custom presets however, so they could be in the wrong place as a result.
