The setup of the Plugin needed to run the application will depend on what operating system you are using Mac or Windows.

See the screen capture for Mac registration. The Website address of the plugin is displayed there.

What info is in the Log file on your desktop?

Have you checked with the plug-in website to see if there is an update available?

I it the first time using the plug-in, was it working previously?

The error message you're seeing is:

johnrellis_0-1706596290643.png

That says, "More information will be [in] the file LRMogrify2_log.txt on your desktop".  So in Finder, go to your Desktop and double-click the file "LRMogrify2_log.txt". That will open it in the Textedit app. Copy and paste its contents into your reply here.

"/Users/stevenreith/Downloads/LRMogrify2.lrplugin/LRMogrify.extras/magick: No such file or directory"

Hmm, that suggests that the plugin didn't get properly installed.

1. Delete the plugin folder in Finder (/Users/stevenreith/Downloads/LRMogrify2.lrplugin).

2. In LR, go to File > Plug-in Manager, select LR/Mogrify 2, and the click Remove at the bottom of the left column.

3. Restart LR.

4. Reinstall the plugin following these directions:

https://www.photographers-toolbox.com/products/lrmogrify2.php?sec=install

When you saw this error message:

johnrellis_0-1706655230651.png

perhaps you clicked Move To Trash?  If so, uninstall the current plugin and re-download and re-install as described above.

If that doesn't help, then post a full-resolution screenshot (not a phone pic) of the entire Finder window of what you see at step 2d.

"nothing in the folder"

I think you might have clicked Move To Trash (or typed return) when the error message appeared:

johnrellis_1-1706728647146.png

Exit LR, re-download a fresh copy of the plugin, and redo step 2 before running LR.

Hi John,

After updating to LR Classic 13.5.1 on Mac Mogrify 2 is constantly crashing after outputting 2-4 images. Strangely it says that Lightroom has crashed, but it is still open. It seems the plug-in has crashed.

I have tried all of the suggestions.

Here is the txt log file :

The error occured when trying to run this command:
"/Users/danielshipp/Dropbox/Daniel Docs/IT/Lightroom PlugIns/LRMogrify2.lrplugin/exiftool/exiftool" -o "/var/folders/jz/ysgr11ms26xb8k5q7bnyjpx00000gn/T/shipp_240902_140305_5149-2.jpg" -tagsfromfile "/tmp/lua_Wqgz7z-2.jpg" -All:All -XMP:All -icc_profile "/tmp/lua_Wqgz7z.jpg" 1> "/Users/danielshipp/Desktop/LRMogrify2_log.txt" 2>&1

@johnrellis  If you can shed any light that would be great, I've come to rely on this plug-in to watermark my images with the filename and I have yet to find another solution.

Thank you
