Hi, I would like to know if there is a way to buy Lightroom Classic as a monthly subscription. In my account I only see the option of an annual subscription with monthly billing. But that means I can't cancel monthly, right?

Annual subscription is the only option. You can pay monthly, but there is no monthly subscription.

Is this answer to monthly vs annual payment dependant upon market? That is a different answer if you are say in AUS as opposed to U.S.?

I see for the Adobe Photography Plan, and I was looking at 20 GB, but this is also true for 1TB, that they offer :

  • Annual, paid monthly, $9.99/mo
  • Annual, prepaid, $119.88 / yr

Mind you, in the Annual, paid monthly, you are contracting for 12 months.

Ahh, I see, No, you cannot just pay monthly and decide to stop after a few months. Their is no plan for just one month.

The only way to subscribe to Lr Classic with only a monthly commitment, so far as I know, is as part of an All Apps plan. This includes lots of other software too and costs IIRC $90 per monthly renewal. That's by contrast with $60 monthly payments for the same software on an annual renewal. Far better value if you don't need anything aside from Lightroom, Lightroom Classic and Photoshop is the $10 monthly payments for the Photography plan annual commitment.
