I need to free up space on my iMac hard drive. I seem to have multiple copies of my Lr catalog taking up lots of space. Do I combine them? Delete some of them? Who can walk me through a solution? Thanks!

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the LRC forum so that proper help can be offered.

These are zipped copies of backups or actual catalogs referencing images. If the former, go for it; delete. If they are actual catalogs referencing images, you need to be very careful here.

What you can always do is use the Export as Catalog command (select all image) then Import as Catalog to combine but again, I'd open each, view them, see what they reference and maybe make screen captures of what is referenced before doing anything further.

Lastly, get a larger HD!
