Good Morning,
I'd love some guidance.
I'm using LrC 12.4 on a Windows 10 platform and I use a Nikon camera.
I am not a professional photographer in that I don't need to export print-quality images. I use my images online only for my blog.
I'm trying to manage my burgeoning image library and notice I have duplicates of the same images, in .NEF and .DSC. Do I need to have both for LrC to edit? And if not, which one is the best to keep?
Thanks, Lynn

.DSC files from a Nikon camera are explained here: https://www.reviversoft.com/en/file-extensions/dsc
As far as I know, you don't need .DSC files for any Lightroom Classic purpose, and as far as I know, Lightroom Classic can't use them at all. Only Nikon's own software can make use of these files.
