NIK Software Color Effex Pro 4 in Adobe Lightroom Classic 2022

I have installed some of the Nik Collection in Lightroom Class 2022.  Dfine, Viveza, and Sharpen all launch just fine when I do "EDIT IN."  However, I cannot figure out why Color Efex Pro 4 won't launch.  I have installed, deleted, and re-installed it several times.  It definitely says in External Edits (where I install it) that the file is an ".exe"   Any ideas.  I've spent a few hours on this over the last few weeks and just can't figure it out.  Thank you!  Diane G.

OH!  Let me say that when I do "Edit in Color Efex Pro 4" it ACTS like it's opening up, but the only thing that's actually happening is that a new photo image of the one I'm working on appears in the filmstrip.

Agree with @GoldingD  Re-create the External Editor Preset for Color Efex-

Check you have the 64bit .exe version in the Preset (as in my sub-folder).

And these settings work for me (LrC 11.3.1 Windows-10).

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .

Thank you as well. I responded that I was not sure what the other
individual meant and that all the ".exe" files within the Collection were
done at the same time and the same way. Not sure why just half of them
"launch" in the workspace. And don't understand why a new image is being
created in the filmstrip (as if I had already accessed the Color Efex, made
changes, and then clicked on "Save"). each time that I try to launch one of
the ones that don't in the LRC. See attached. The application in the
folder is identical to the one that shows outside of the folder.

Have a great day!

Have you tried creating the External Edit Preset yourself? As opposed to what ever the install script attempted?

Thanks for your response. I am sorry if I don't understand what you mean.
I went to External Edits and then in Explorer found the Nik Collection and
selected the Color Efex Pro ".exe" file and said OK. Is there another
way? What's confusing is that I did all of the Nik Collection at the same
time and in the exact same way. Thank you! D
