Hi, there is no "defringe", "manual defringe" when I try to copy the settings. Remove Chromatic aberration doesn't do the necessary job, and when I copy the entire lens correction, the manual adjustments are not being copied, which forces me to manualy do it in all pictures that need editing. Could this please be fixed?
I reinstalled everything and it now copies the manual defringe. I tried to copy it so many times yesterday and nothing worked. Thanks all for help

May I ask what software you are using (and what version NUMBER)?
May I also ask where are you looking (please be specific and detailed) when you expect to see defringe and you don't see it?

I use LR Classic 14.31, the newest version. As I described earlier, the issue occurs in Lens Correction tab, manual section.
I also noticed, that masks have "defrindge" slider, while there is no such thing at all in the main develop section, except from the one I described above - Lens Correction > Manual

Yes I see Defringe in the Lens Correction/Manual tab. Are you saying you don't see it there? I don't think you will find it in the Basic tab (which I assume is what you mean by "main develop section").

I cannot open your file attachment (or anyone's file attachment). Please use the "Insert Photos" icon to include your screen capture in your reply.

I think the "Remove Chromatic Aberration" box contains Defringe.

It's the first thing I checked and it doesn't help. I ended up copying everything from Lens Correction and nothing copies the manual defringe.

So you see no difference after doing the copy when "Remove Chromatic Aberration" is checked? Are the "Amount" sliders still at zero?

The "remove chromatic aberration" is just a tickbox, I can't see any difference (or much), so I use sliders. I can't copy the sliders. Whatever I copy - keeps the manual slider at zero.

So now you do see a small difference when you do the copy? Please note that depending on the image, copying the Remove Chromatic Aberration make have only a slight affect on an image.
so I use sliders. I can't copy the sliders. Whatever I copy - keeps the manual slider at zero.
Again I ask you to be specific. What sliders are you referring to?

You know, I just can't take it anymore, I can't keep repeating myself. There is only one slider I am referring to, and I won't be describing the problem from the beginning , with all specific details, every time you reply. I will let you deduct which slider it is. I pasted a screenshot too. If you're not going to help, just leave it to someobody else please as you make it more difficult and I am about to stop using this website and the entire software.

btw this sounds like an order not an attempt to support, not sure if you're aware. Worth of investing in soft skills, especially if you manage any people in your professional life. You keep questioning, while you have all the answers in front of you and for some time now I've been wondering if you really somehow don't understand or or you only pretend to prove something.
If I won't get any response from Adobe within 48h I am cancelling the subscription for various reason (lack of support here is one of them)

Testing this myself (14.31, Windows) if I select (only) the Remove Chromatic Aberration option in Copy Settings, and then Paste to another image: both the Defringe settings (from Manual tab) AND the state of Remove CA checkbox (from Profile tab) are transferred to the second image. Confirming that for me, it does work as dj_paige said - there is no other setting you are missing AFAIK.
Why you should not see the same is hard to say, but one question to start with may be whether the images are of the same nature (Raw based, non-Raw based. Fringing sliders ought to take effect independently of profiled lens correction AFAICT, also of the 'remove CA' checkbox.
I suppose it would be worth checking graphics acceleration is working OK (up to date and suitable driver) since odd behaviour sometimes happens to do with that.
I believe the "defringe" option in the Masking panel only alters the local 'strength' (within the mask-selected area) of whatever the defringing sliders are otherwise set to do globally; if anything.

This is a user to user forum. @dj_paige does not work for Adobe and is not Adobe support, so if you think he can't help you then simply ignore him. I just did a quick test with Lightroom Classic 14.3.1 on my Mac, and I can indeed copy/paste the defringe settings by checking the checkbox for Removing Chromatic Aberration, like he said. That makes sense, because the Defringe option is a manual removal of CA.
