As the subject suggests, I have no success in masking subject in LrC. I tried this with many other photos I've taken before and results are all the same.

However, when I tried opening the same photo in Photoshop, the subject can be selected properly. So now I wonder what could be the difference in setting between the two, if there's any.

Help is greatly appreciated!

Don't know if this is your problem, but due to a driver bug in the latest Mac OS releases, Lightroom has some major issues with AMD Radeon GPUs. It leads to artefacts in images and some of the AI masking not working correctly.

Oh yeah, I realized when I turn the GPU setting to Auto, random artefacts are showing in my images so I have to turn it Off always. I hope this bug gets fixed soon while I go back to manually masking by brush lol. Thanks for your response.
