Noise reduction doesn't work LrC 14.5.1 CR17.5

New Here ,
Oct 23, 2025 Oct 23, 2025

I've update Lightroom Classic and Camera Raw at the latest version.

Since than, Noise Reduction doesn't work anymore (Photo shooted whit Nikon D5600, file extention .NEF, Windows 11 Pro).

When i click the Noise Reduction Flag, appear to me the window where you can see that it's start working saying to me how much time will take to apply the noise reduction, 2 second later the window disappear without applying the command.

I've tried with automatic syncronisation, nothing change.

I've tried to unistall and reinstall, nothing.

I've tried to reset preference, still nothing.

Last week i was able to use noise reduction, now it doesen't work.

Please someone let me know what is wrong with that, thanks.

Hey, @matteo_3297. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out. Please test and confirm if the issue appears with a specific set of images with no prior edits, and share the system info from Lightroom Help > System info > Copy and paste into a text document > Upload and attach here.

Where are the original images stored, on the internal or external drive? Please check this conversation and see if it matches what you see: https://adobe.ly/476ilEw

Thanks!

With all due respect @Sameer K , a user whose LrC will not perform AI Denoise will likely not learn anything from a thread about how to denoise multiple photos.

I understand, @dj_paige. I've shared the wrong thread. I wanted to inquire if they've just updated from a version before Denoise got added to the Develop panels, and were expecting to see the old Enhance > Denoise window.

Maybe this thread would've been appropriate: https://adobe.ly/4ovZVCL

@matteo_3297 , You indicate that CR is at version 17.5, I am also on Win 11 and I got an update to Camera Raw on Adobe Creative Cloud application to Version 17.5.1.

Try the update and see if it helps with your problem.

@DdeGannes Lightroom Classic does not use the Camera Raw plugin, it has the Camera Raw routines built in. That means there can be a slight version mismatch between these built-in routines and the plugin, but that should not be relevant and -more importantly- it cannot be resolved by updating the plugin.
