A friend of mine is getting a new iMac from a MAC retailer and has been told that "Part of my new computer data transfer is lr and ps 2024 as they say non subscription based, they say they have some sort of licence for the business". I'm concerned he may be getting a bogus copies.

Does anyone have any insights?

Thanks

Absolutely bogus and possibley a scam with the risk of unwanted installed items (virus).

They DON'T have a licence!

Lightroom and Photoshop are only available by a subscription directly with Adobe.

The Photography Plan (20GB) includes: Lightroom, Photoshop, Lightroom Classic, Lightroom mobile, etc.
