I've got "Graphics processor acceleration has been disabled due to errors."
My system exceeds all the requirements to my knowledge, and I've updated all my drivers.

Definitely get the drivers up to date.
I don't believe there's a problem with Radeon HD cards, and FWIW, I'm using a XFX AMD Radeon R9 280 with 3Gb. You're going to need a recent generation card with at least 2Gb of memory such as the AMD R9 2xx series or nvidia’s Geforce 700 or 900.

I started another post before I read this one.
Here is my LR-CC report:

That is OK.
But the performance is a slow down, ie seconds of lag using the brush.
Hop this gets fixed soon!

The above is from my desktop system. Ironically, the installation on my less robust laptop passed the graphic acceleration test and was using it's Intel graphics processor by default. Unfortunately it was also taking 4 to 5 seconds to generate image preview, so I disabled it via the checkbox. Now it's generating previews at the speed it did with LR5.

I cant believe that Adobe would miss this in testing - I suspect they already knew about this bug and are already busy working on a fix.
With so many release dates missed, they probably decided to let Lightroom out to the public and then deal with the AMD problems afterwards.
I would expect some comment from them within a few days and a fix within a few weeks.
This may be just one of the know bugs

I checked the Triple buffering setting - I only have one on my Catalyst, it was off
I turned it on but it didnt fix LR
I uninstalled the AMD drivers and re-installed - I checked Triple buffering and it is on by default.
LR still not fixed
Then I see that Adobe are already working on this ..... http://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family/topics/problem-with-my-graphics-processor?utm_source=...
So I'll wait

I think you may well be right there. Odd, because in theory, they meet the spec. John Beardsworth is also using an R9, and Keith Reeder an R7, both of which are working for them. Everyone in this thread who can't get GPU support to work seem to be using Radeon HD series GPUs (save for a couple of folk using Nvidia and Intel).
It's interesting that I've never encountered this problem in PS (going back to CS5 right up to the current CC 2014): I've always had full GPU functionality (advanced setting) without any issues. Perhaps Adobe need to tweak their code, or perhaps AMD need to release a new driver... Or perhaps I need to buy an R series...!

Could this be a Windows issue?
I use Macs and on this MacPro tower, I am using an HD-series Radeon (HD 5770) and Lr CC2015 is working perfectly well.
And the GPU seems o be fine, and Open GL works too.

My second machine is a late 2013 MPB Retina (also running OSX 10.10.3). I have had no problems on that machine either.
Neither are there any problems using Ps and ACR 9.0 on either machine.
Easy installation of everything and not a single crash so far.

Might be a Windows-related problem. Maybe LR 6 vs. LR CC also different on this one?

No im having the same issue with R9 290 in crossfire. Ive tried disabling xfire, ive tried switching GPUs around and changing the primary GPU. Ive tried every Driver i can get hold of. It just wont work. Same OpenGL error as others are getting. It must be an Adobe bug.

You know, it just struck me that some of the comments I heard from Adobe are a bit strange.
Sometimes they seem to be saying: "We definitely know what the problem is and it is in the drivers, so we can't do anything".
And sometimes they are saying: "We are working hard to find a solution, give me more data logs please."
Between version "6.00" and "6.01" (using quotes 'cause I'm using cc) there was an additional improvement to the script that generates the log files. But that doesn't get mentioned.
My best guess is that people at Adobe knew all along that there were going to be problems, and that's why the release date got postponed at least once, although not officially.
The fact that certain things don't yet work with opengl (HDR, panorama etc) in my mind means that this is a beta release as far as the opengl goes.
The fact that this log file button is present in the preferences as well as in the Help, system info (where it belongs) also points to this.
Imagine if Adobe had to come out with the latest and most awaited LR version and say to the public that certain aspects are still in beta?
So, I'm not worried. They are going to figure this out, but is going to take a lot of time.
Everything else works fantastic and is worth the upgrade even without the opengl accel.

Isn't this a bit off topic in this thread?

Agreed. See my reply #239: "I suggest searching and posting this issue in the Camera Raw forum here: Adobe Camera Raw"
But it's not too far off-topic!

IMHO you are quite the Optimist.....no offense intended. There were and still are issues with GPU acceleration in PS CS and PS CC2014 and Adobe has had plenty of time to resolve them. I purchased a new Nvidia Quadro graphics card and an expensive NEC PA272w monitor with 30 bit (10bit/color) support for use with PS CS6 since LR does not support this capability. After much work I could only get PS CS6 30 bit mode to work properly at Zoom View settings of 64% and higher. Yes, that's what I said...very wierd! OK, now I have PS CC 2014 installed and I can't 30 bit mode to work at all, ZERO, NADA, NOTHING, but 24 bit (8bit/color):
Photoshop CC 2104 30 bit Color Support
Please read what I said in this post concerning GPU support in the soon to be released LR6:
Re: When will Lightroom 6 be released
Thank you for listening!
