Watermarking is the last step in my workflow, and it is done during the export process. The unwatermarked image is still available for future editing in Lightroom.

@M S S, what's a ghost hand? Please attach the original photo here (not an export) so we and Adobe can see the issue in detail. If the forum won't let you attach it, upload it to Dropbox, Google Drive, or similar and post the sharing link here.

@Javo Agudelo: Translation of error: "Generative Erase has failed. We have detected an issue and are unable to complete your request at this time. Try it again later."
Sometimes firewalls and anti-malware / anti-virus utilities incorrectly block some network requests from LR. If the problem persists, try these troubleshooting steps:
- Temporarily disable all the firewall / anti-malware on your computer. If that solves the problem, then add a specific exclusion for LR to firewall's rules.
- Connect to another network, preferably one serviced by a different ISP. E.g. a Wifi connection of a neighbor, a coffee shop, work, or your phone's hotspot.

Generative AI Remove in LRC mostly generates a smaller version of the item selected for removal, instead of removing it and generating a decent background without that item.
I've tried this multiple times and the same thing keeps happening. This needs to be improved.
Thank you.

If you're referring to the 3 ghosts on the horizon, then note that they're caused by you applying the Gene AI Remove to an image that already has an AI Mask (check for red dot below the Maks icon on toolbar - see attached screenshot) or the Opacity is not set to 100.
Fortunately, it's easy to fix both - set the Opacity to 100 or in the case of an existing mask just use the 'Update AI Settings', which can be found in the Develop module Settings menu. Alternativel, use Update AI Mask as shown in the screenshot.
To avoid the masks issue in future you should use the Remove tools before Masks.

I think you nailed it -- there was already a mask applied. I ahd alreadfy tried the refresh and checked opacity but didn't know about the first Mask issue. Went back to the original and tried it without the Sky Mask. Thanks!

It worked for a few days but since 11.06.2024 i see "Generative Remove Failed - Please check your internet connection and try again". I excluded Lightroom from Bitdefender Firewall and also resintalled it, without any effect. I also changed the DNS servers from the ISP with 1.1.1.1 and 9.9.9.9 but it's the same.
What else can i try ?

Double-check by temporarily disabling Bitdefender entirely. Also it's possible the Windows Defender firewall is active -- disable it temporarily too. If it now works with both fully disabled, then you've got to fiddle with the exclusions.
If that doesn't help, connect to another network, preferably one serviced by a different ISP. E.g. a Wifi connection of a neighbor, a coffee shop, work, or your phone's hotspot and see if it works there. I've had infrequent cases of customers of my LR plugins experience blocked network requests from local and network routers, especially in authoritarian countries like China.

i've been getting the same error for the past 2 days too. it worked totally fine previously, and i'm using the same home wifi connection with no firewalls etc. could this be a bug on adobe's server?

It's not a server bug, it's a firewall incorrectly blocking some of LR's networking requests. It could be a firewall on your computer, your local router, your ISP, or your national government. (I've had customers of my LR plugins experience all of those issues over the years.)
You may have a firewall configured and not realize it. I believe Windows Defender Firewall is enabled on Windows by default, but you may have third-party security packages (anti-malware, anti-virus, etc) that install their own firewalls. This post shows how to fix one issue arising with Windows Defender:
If you've triple-checked you don't have a firewall installed on your computer, connect to another network, preferably one serviced by a different ISP. E.g. a Wifi connection of a neighbor, a coffee shop, work, or your phone's hotspot. Sometimes the routers in these networks block LR's requests, especially in authoritarian countries like China.

For everyone I made a video with a fix for this problem! https://youtu.be/JDsF6oTD5Q4?si=M1-bBoPMI6B-QLzB
Hope this fixes it all for you too

Thanks for posting that video. To help others figure out quickly whether that video applies to them: it shows how to adjust the rules of the Windows Defender Firewall to stop blocking LR's networking requests. This won't help those whose LR is getting blocked by third-party security packages (anti-malware / anti-virus) or network routers.

If you crop an image and then apply Gen remove, it frequently does not do a full remove, it picks up something outside the crop

Right. Remove operates on the entire, uncropped image, so Remove first, then Crop. See this article for more on how to use Remove:

Adobe should just have a a button called remove next to Object Aware. Remove tool doesn't remove. It just puts in another person or object.

I love this tool, it´s a great progress for speeding up retouching. Please could you remove this eraser icon which shows up inside the brush area after applying this tool in LR classic. If you have got very small objects to remove it really disturbs selecting one of the 3 variants.

Set Tool Overlay to Auto or Never, and the icon will disappear. Keyboard shortcut H cycles through the options for Tool Overlay.
