LrC Generative AI has issues with blurred wire fencing (as does PS Remove distratctions) It seems to substitute another set of wires for the fencing. Image attached The erase tool can deal wit it but the "fix" can easily be seen. It does seem to work OK with fencing that is in focus ( I don't have an example right now)

If you crop an image and then apply Gen remove, it frequently does not do a full remove, it picks up something outside the crop

A simple question (?) just want to make sure I understand how things work..... After syncing a collection of images from LrC (to be used in Adobe Portfolio), if I turn off the sync, the files in Lightrrom.Adobe.com will remain, but just not be updated with any subsequent edits. Is that correct? Running ver 13.2 on a PC Thanks

Thanks again John The screen grab I attached to the initial posts does show the files, but they seem to be previews with VERY long file names which would likely be difficult to trace Sounds like I should go the #2 route

Thanks John. Syncing is very important to me I will definitely hold off until 13.4, thanks for heads up. Re suggestion #1 - I am more than happy to remove them from lR Cloud, but how to know which files they are? Suggestion #2 sounds good as well as a back up for #1. OR should I just go do #2? Appreciate your assistance

(Not sure if this is a "discussion" or "Bug") [Moderator: Discussion is correct - a bug can only be filed against the current shipping version]
For sometime I have had 29 pending sync files "stuck". Any new files I sync are handled fine, but these 29 stay as pending. See attached screen grab
I would prefer to solve this before updating to ver 13.3
Is there a way to get rid of the pendiing sync files. I have no idea which ones they are. I would be quite happy to just delete the files if I knew which ones they were.

I hadn't used Express for a while and discovered yesterday that I can't directly use my sync;ed Lightroom Classic images. I use EXPRESS on via the website. When will I be able to start using my LrC images directly again via the website? Thanks

I haven't used it much but when I do it has worked very well except it would be great if a mask you have already worked on in post processing could be copied into the LENS BLUR as tryuing to replicate a tricky mask is much more difficult in LENS BLUR than in the main masking function. I find I frequently want to use the same masks, but they don't seem to be available

I have a number of webapges created in Adobe SPARK (and maybe one or two in EXPRESS) and I would like to access them. But I embarassed to say I don't seem to be able to acess them. I went to https://www.adobe.com/express/ I am signed into my Adobe Account, but don't seem to be able to find a way to my exisiting projects. I suspect I missing the obvious (not having been in there for a long time), but I'd appreciate it if someone could point me the way. Thanks

Nancy: To make a long story short, issue has been worked with senior tech support but not resolved yet. They were tied up for 3 days before getting back to me, worked on it for 3 to 4 hours over 2 days, but not completed as I had to leave on a trip. We will pick up from where they left off when I get back.

Over the past few years I used Adobe Spark, now Adobe Express, to create webpages. I created them from within my browser with no downlaoding of Express being required. I now use Adobe Portfolio, but I want to create a webpage like I used to with Express. I am not seeing an option to create a webpage, and it seems I have to download the software. Questions: 1. Can I no longer create webpages using Express? 2. It looks like I can not create unlimited webpages like before, but have a max 2gb storage on the free plan. Is this correct? Thank you

I am using 2.2gb of 23. The reference for stuck syncing seemed to refer to Lightroom, not Lightroom Classic I went through your 9 steps. Lightroom Classic is now showing 54 files synced. (Those are 15 new files I tried syncing before I discovered the problem, and 39 from a collection that was synced but wasn't showing as being synced, I tried syncing it when I was trying to sort out the problem a week ago.) (Lightroom.adobe.com is not showing the 15 new files as being synced) In the sync box, top right of Lightroom Classic, it is showing syncing 18,874 files. That is the number that were synced before this issue arose See new screen grab The syncing pauses everytime I leave that screen and come here to type this reply, and I have to restart it. I have not seen any reductioon in the 18,874 number while tyeing this The option to sync a collection is now appearing when I right click on a collection. See screen print

Thanks for replying Nancy I agree I am "all over the place", but I was trying to give some background that might help to figure out the solution. I'll try to explain as succinctly as I can..... I use LrC exclusively for editing etc, have since the software first was made available. LrC will no longer sync any collections to the cloud. Nor does it show any of the collections that have been synced in the past. The little zig-zags on the left side of the collections for synced selections are gone. Right clicking on a collection does not give an option to sync. (see screen garb) The 18,748 images that had been synced are still there at lightrooom.adobe.com, But LrC is showing "0" synced (see screen grab) I want to continue syncing new collections, some of which will be used in Portfolio as I have been doing for the past approx 2 years. (Some were used in Express before I switched to Portfolio.) I hope that is clearer Thank you

There is at least one other thread that talks about syncing issues, but it didn’t seem to be quite the same. So I posted it on https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-discussions/lightroom-classic-syncing-issue/td-p/13498156 But still no replies so I am now trying it as a new thread on BUGS hoping someone can assist. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Background: My sync’ed images are used in Adobe Portfolio, Express and a number of standalone collections shared by Lightroom Links. About 10 days ago I tried entering keywords on new images and didn’t notice that my click on “Click here to add keywords” didn’t connect; I carried on typing causing the screen to change modes (presumably as I typed short cut keys). I recovered back to the Library screen, but noticed all my keywords were gone for the entire catalog. (I was deleting keywords in the new images) Then I spotted the SYNC METADATA on the right side of the screen was ON!! I never use that, but somehow in the mishmash of typing I must have clicked on it unknowingly. To get my keywords back I copied my last catalog back-up (the full catalog set of files, not just the zipped back-up) When I clicked on the lrcat file it said corrupted but LrC fixed it. Keywords were back so I though all was OK and have been working with the (fixed up) catlog for about a week. Now I have just noticed that NONE of my collections are showing as being sync’ed (The zig-zag line next to the synced collections are all gone) and the top right syncing activity dialogue box is showing 14,874 syncing. (I don't think the problems vis-a-vis the keywords has anything to do with the syncing issue as I had closed LrC a few times after resolving the keywords issue without being told of on-going syncing in the LrC close dialogue) Following Rikki’s instructions on page 1 of the thread mentioned above: I went to step 1 (lightroom.adobe.com), no issues showed I went to step 2, let the syncing run for 60 minutes - no change in numbers I went to step 3, (Preferences>Lightroom sync>sync activity)nothing showed. I have not tried changing the synch.lrdata to “old” yet. I have some zipped catalog back-up files from late December See screen grabs below UPDATE Jan 19 LrC is no longer trying to sync the 14,874 files. I searched for this subject, but seemed to have come up blank. I am sure it has been discussed elsewhere, but I couldn't find it. I expect to be replacing my computer in the near future. I will obviously have to set up the LrC catalog on the new computer. What is the "Best Practice" for that? - Use the zipped back up copy from the last time I closed LrC? - Or take a copy of the full catalog ie. .lrcat and helper etc files, and paste it in the new computer? Thank you

While LrC workspace set up is more simple than Photoshop's, Photoshop has a an option to do set it to a chosen default: (Windows>workspace)
This would come in handy with LrC when, as an example, you try entering keywords, not noticing you didn't quite connect with the keyword entry "box". When this happens a good number of keys that you hit are short cut keys and the screen flickers between various views. Sometimes it is easy to recover back to the normal workspace, but there are times it takes a while to sort it out.
(Maybe just a magic way to undo all those unintended keystrokes😊)

I just learned about the Collaborative proofing. It looked like a GREAT feature. I am using the feature via Lightroom Classic I tried it: - the person I sent the proof link to could see the images, - but was told they had to sign in before they could select images. Unless I missed a step (I had made the collection public) That limits the feature to people with Adobe Accounts. I don't want to make people open adobe accounts so not sure how useful this feature is going to be to me. Does it seem I missed a step, or is this the way the feature works?
