Panasonic G85 RW2 files not recognized by Lightroom 6

I am using lightroom 6 and when I try to import the RW2 files from my G85 it says "The files are not recognized by the raw format support in Lightroom (906)".  Any ideas?  From what I've read Lightroom 6 should support them. I am able to open them in other apps so I know the files are not corrupt.

    Open LR and go to Help > System Info. What version of LR is listed.

    Update LR to CC/6 .13 from here.

    I actually downloaded from that same page this morning and ran the install and it still shows this :

    Lightroom version: 6.0 [1014445]
