This is how my screen looks: big panels. I tried settings in preferences/interface/characters, but nothing works. Does anyone know what to do? I work on a Macbook Air, Ligthroom CC. Regards, Jos.

Position your mouse cursor over the inside edge of the panels, and it will become a double arrow.

You can then click and drag to make the panels smaller.

Hi, no that doesn’t work either, I cannot reduce them any smaller than this… Thanks for your reply!

If you are using a reduced screen resolution because the interface text is too small, try using full (native) screen resolution, and increase the text size in Preferences > Interface.

Thanks, I scaled the screen to “ more space” and that helps quite a bit.

I have the same problem.  I can move the double arrows right and left , but panels do not get smaller than an annoyingily large size.

Hi David, I haven't found a solution yet. I read a Lightroom manual, the pictures schowed exactly the same devision of the screen. I must say you get used to it, because of the incredible sharpness of the screen. Good luck, greetings Jos.

It looks like the same localisation bug that affects other non English languages. You could try temporarily switching to Engish to see if it resolves the panel size issue. It would also be helpful if you could report your results to this thread as it would then confirm that your language (Dutch?) needs to be added to the list.

Hello and thanks for your response. I don't know why you think that I am
using Dutch. My Lightroom is in English.

I was addressing the original post, which the screenshot looks to be Dutch. Other than 'I have the same problem', you hadn't submitted screenshots to given of clue what language your copy of LrC is set to.
