PC slowing down when you run Lightroom and an internet browser at the same time

For the past few months, I have been struggling with a problem where when I run Adobe's photo software LRC/PS (especially LRC) and an internet browser (either Chrome or Edge) at the same time in a Windows 11 environment, PC becomes extremely slow and I can't do any work.

 

There seem to be no problems with the specs, and even when I look at the task manager while it's slowing down, there doesn't seem to be any problems. (Memory is 64GB) What's more, I'm troubled because this has only happened recently.

 

I think both Adobe and the browser have done pretty much everything I can find online. Do you have any ideas for a solution?

Sorry for the late update, but I was able to resolve the issue on my own.

After uninstalling my security software, everything started running smoothly.

Please help us all out and be specific ... what security software was it? And was it anti-virus or firewall or something else?

I am not having this problem with LrC 14.1.1 and Windows 11, so you absolutely must show us the information in Help->System Info down to the plug-ins (and we don't want to see anything after the plug-ins, in fact we absolutely HATE information after the plugins).

 

Also what action(s) in LrC are you performing when this happens? How big are your original RAW images in pixels or megapixels (do not tell me megabytes). What is your internet browser doing?

    Unfortunately you haven't given us any information about your system. Therefore, all proposed solutions are a look into the crystal ball

     

    What has been changed on your system before the error occur?

     

    Is your system up-to-date? Do you have installed all recent updates and patches for the operating system and the device drivers, especially the graphic driver. If you have a NVidia graphic card installed, make sure that you are using the recent Studio version of the driver, not the Game Ready version.

     

    Please provide a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the LrC Help > System Info menu item. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.
