Photo automatically changing exposure in Lightroom

Hello, I have a problem here. I'm working as videographer with Sony A6300 but sometimes I do love to take photos. As a camerman I tend to film Slog2/3 most of the time and thats how I also take the photos. But, when I go into Lightroom to edit them as soon as I click on a photo from the Library and than go to Develop tab, the photos suddenly automatically changes. Since I'am mostly nightclub videographer, when the picture changes inside of Lightroom, mainly the exposure changes. To me feels like there is some "lut" being applied on top of it, to bring it back to normal ("rec.709").

 

My question is: How do I make Lightroom not to change my Slog photos (they look much more brighter..)

Do you shoot in raw? Raw files are not affected by your Slog2/3. Only jpegs are. That is why the raw file will look very different in Lightroom from the jpeg preview you saw on the camera lcd screen.

    Yes, I do shoot raw.

    I also use a small light and it's enough to bright up the subject but in Lightroom it's ten times darker.

    Then the explanation is the opposite from what you think. Lightroom is not applying anything to the raw file, but your camera is applying the SLog to the jpeg preview. So it's your camera that shows you the wrong result. Your options are to either get used to this (you can correct it in Lightroom, so you could ignore the difference), or turn off SLog when shooting photos. I sometimes do the first when I shoot a lot of video on a certain day and only take a few photos in between. I keep the SLog setting, knowing that my LCD won't show the correct result for the photos.
