I see a LOT of people have this same issue, but nothing I am reading is fixing this for me. I have a MAC that is running Ventura Version 13.4.1 (22F82) - which just updated, then this started happening. before the update, everything worked fine. I'm using Lightroom Classic release 12.4 and Photoshop 24.6.0. I tried uninstalling both and reinstalling the applications. I tried resetting on quit in Photoshop. I checked file types in both, but nothing seems to resolve the issue.
Usually, I would be in Lightroom, need to go to Photoshop, so I use the menu options Photo-Edit in _Adobe Photoshop 2023 and it would open the tiff in Photoshop for editing. When I made the edits, I hit save, close image and it brings the updated tiff back to Lightroom. It not doing that anymore. It is saving the Photoshop-edited tiff back to the same folder it pulled from, but it's not flipping back to lightroom unless I trey to reimport that edited image- which is a pain and I didn't have to do that before, so I'm to sure what I have to do that now?
Obviously, a setting somewhere changed with t e updates, or something is off. Does anyone have any ideas I can try? I'm new to MACs so it's twice as hard for me to troubleshoot it if it's the application or the MAC update that caused this. I'm very frustrated as I just came back form vacation and have tons of photos to edit.

update: I redid the uninstall of both applications, but this time installed photoshop first, then lightroom , and it's working again!
